Fairy Fest comes to Downtown Sheboygan
The event pays homage to the Fairyfolk Festival at Bookworm Gardens

SHEBOYGAN — Visitors to The GameBoard in Downtown Sheboygan will get a taste of the whimsical world of fairies.
Fairy Fest is taking place inside the store, located at 621 North 8th Street, until Friday evening. The event pays homage to the annual event at Bookworm Gardens taking place through Sunday on the Sheboygan Center Campus.
“Each year, children and their families come to Sheboygan for a magical experience they can’t find anywhere else,” said Lynn Potyen, owner of The GameBoard. “For the past 15 years, the team at Bookworm Gardens has done such a wonderful job of making the Fairyfolk Festival a must-attend annual event.

The event is free to attend, with a range of activities suitable for all ages. Part of the fun will be a chance to find the Fairy Princess who has hidden away, counting all her treasures. Find her and she’ll have to share a gem with you. Knock on all the fairy doors and use the clues the fairies have left you to find the Princess. “We wanted to add to the magic in our own way,” added Potyen. “This is our second year of offering this fun addition of whimsy!”
As part of the event, The GameBoard will offer special giveaways and provide branded thank-you gifts, including SheBoardGames post-it packs, fairy themed bookmarks and bracelets, to ensure that the spirit of the day lives on after the event concludes.
The Fairyfolk Festival at Bookworm Gardens, located at 1415 Campus Drive, runs through Sunday, August 10th from 9 AM to 5 PM daily, with an early closure at 4 PM on Friday for the Fairyfolk Masquerade, which runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
