Bookworm Gardens hosting Fairyfolk Festival
The festival runs through Sunday and features 83 spellbinding garden spaces

SHEBOYGAN — The six-day Fairyfolk Festival kicked off on Tuesday morning at Bookworm Gardens.
The 15th Annual Fairyfolk Festival runs through Sunday, August 10th and features 83 spellbinding garden spaces, Dragon Disco, captivating story time and the Fairy Garden Contest. Children will be able to build their own fairy houses and gnome homes. For adults, Fairyfolk Masquerade will be held Friday evening from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The event will allow attendees, age 21 and older, to tour the gardens after hours while enjoying cocktails or mocktails and live music from Tangled Lines.

Bookworm Gardens, located at 1415 Campus Drive, opened to the public in 2010 on the Sheboygan Center Campus. “This is the event that started it all,” said Elizabeth Wieland, Executive Director of Bookworm Gardens. “Fairyfolk is woven into the hearts of our visitors and into the memories of so many families who have made it a part of their summer every year since we opened.”
The Sheboygan Fencing Club will hold demonstrations from 9 AM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. Children can also hunt for hidden gnomes in a game of "I Spy."
Admission this week is $15 for adults and $13 for children. Admission for Fairyfolk Masquerade is $16 or $13 for members. Tickets are available online and at the front gate. AHS Reciprocal Membership, library memberships and special passes are not valid during the festival. Regular pricing will resume on Tuesday, August 12th.
