Police identify suspect in Minnesota shootings as former Town of Sheboygan resident
Vance Boelter and his wife Jenny lived on County Road J for nearly 10 years

TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN — A nationwide manhunt is underway for a 57-year-old man who previously lived in the Town of Sheboygan for nearly 10 years.
According to the FBI, Vance Luther Boelter is suspected of shooting and killing Melissa Hortman, a Minnesota State Representative, and her husband Mark Hortman at their home early Saturday morning. He also allegedly shot and injured State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette Hoffman at their home. They are alive, but remain in critical condition according to police.
Boelter, and his wife Jenny, purchased a home on County Road J near County Road Y in August 2005. They sold the house in December 2014 and moved to Minnesota. While Boelter lived in the Town of Sheboygan, he was employed at Johnsonville Sausage and led Revoformation Ministries, a evangelical ministry. Boelter is a graduate of the former Cardinal Stritch University near Milwaukee.
According to FOX News, Boelter is reportedly the CEO of Red Lion Group, based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and director of Praetorian Guard Security Services.
