Suspect sought in Town of Wilson break-ins
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of thefts from vehicles

SHEBOYGAN — The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a number of vehicle break-ins that occurred in recent days.
An unknown suspect has been breaking into vehicles during the overnight hours on Stahl Road and in the Lake Aire Subdivision. “Our investigations are still active and I cannot release any information at this time,” said Sergeant Trevor Bethke. “The Sheriff's Office encourages everyone to remove all items of value from and to secure their vehicles.” The suspect has been targeting vehicles parked in driveways.
The Town of Wilson contracts with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office for 24 hours of dedicated patrol service per month. In June, deputies performed 25 hours of contract patrols. Deputies issued seven written warnings, one traffic citation and two misdemeanor arrests were made. In total, deputies handled 138 calls for service in the town for the month of June according to Bethke.
