Discover Wisconsin unveils Sheboygan County’s inviting communities and sharing stories from local residents

SHEBOYGAN — Discover Wisconsin, the nation’s longest-running travel and tourism television series, will spotlight Sheboygan County in their newest episode.
Andrea Boehlke, host of Discover Wisconsin, takes viewers on a journey through Sheboygan County. From charming neighborhoods to abundant outdoor adventures, this episode captures the diverse opportunities that define Sheboygan County. She sat down with local businesses including Roman Draughton, owner of Limelight Pub. "People are extremely friendly," said Draughton. "And it feels like, everything is here at your fingertips."
The episode will air this weekend at varying times across local television affiliates in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Upper Michigan. Locally, the episode will air on TMJ4 on Sunday, May 10th at 10:30 AM or you can watch it right here on wkts.org or listen to it on the Substack App.
Boehlke is a Random Lake native herself. She was a participant on the CBS hit show Survivor in 2011, 2013 and 2017. The show features a group of people in an isolated location, where they must provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves. Before becoming the host of Discover Wisconsin, Boehlke interviewed celebrities and hosted red carpet specials for People Magazine for seven years.
“We were wowed by a beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan and loved getting to meet local business owners and residents,” said Lindsey Hayes, producer of Discover Wisconsin. “We ate great food, enjoyed live music, featured local artists, and left with a better understanding of why this is a great place to live, work, and play.”
The 18-minute episode concludes by spotlighting the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce and its Make Your Mark program, which connects job seekers with local employers across diverse industries. This initiative supports residents in finding meaningful employment, making Sheboygan County a great place to live, work, and play. "We got a whole team here ready to help," said Leah Bischoff, the chamber's Transition Specialist.
