SHEBOYGAN — The Sheboygan A’s capped off a championship season in dominant fashion Thursday night, blanking the Menasha Macs 12-0 at Wildwood Baseball Park to claim the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League (NEWBL) title in the best-of-three series.
Sheboygan set the tone early, plating three runs in the first inning. Harry Steldt’s RBI single opened the scoring before Chase Hanselman ripped a two-run triple to right-center to give the A’s quick control. Steldt finished the night 3-for-4 with a double, walk, and RBI.
John Hadley added to the lead in the third with a two-run homer to right, and the A’s broke the game open in the fifth when both Connor Lasch and Riley Palmquist both went deep—Lasch hitting a one-out solo shot, and Palmquist following up with a two-out three-run shot, his first homer of the season.

Hanselman put an exclamation point on the night with a towering three-run blast in the sixth, giving him five RBIs for the game. On the mound, Brad Rindfleisch delivered a masterclass, firing a complete-game shutout. The right-hander allowed just four hits, walked none, and struck out 10 in a 128-pitch gem.
Palmquist (2-for-4, HR, 3 RBI) and Carter Kallies (2-for-5) also chipped in multi-hit nights as the A’s offense racked up 14 hits and seven walks. Every starter reached base at least once, and Sheboygan’s defense backed Rindfleisch with error-free play after the first inning.
With the win, the A’s close the 2025 campaign at 36-22 overall, having captured the NEWBL regular season crown, the WSL Tournament title, and now the NEWBL Championship.
