Chicago company relocating to Oostburg
The Village of Oostburg approved plans earlier this year for Poco Packing

OOSTBURG — A company is moving 127 miles north from O’Hare and with it is 10 new jobs in the Oostburg Business Park.
Poco Packing Co. is a dry, shelf-stable food co-packaging company currently located about four miles northwest of O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. The company has received approval from the Village of Oostburg to construct a new facility in the Oostburg Business Park. Construction is expected to start in October, with the building erection and finishing work planned to continue throughout the winter.

Poco Packing specializes in working with retail and consumer packaged goods brands to convert manufactured goods into consumer-ready formats. Their core services include filling stand-up pouch flexible packaging, stick packs for electrolytes and drink powders, and dry food blending.
”I'm personally excited to bring the company back to my home state, as I was born and raised in Wisconsin,” said owner Mitchell Naparalla. He told WKTS News his company is aiming for the facility to open in early 2026.
Naparalla said they anticipate creating 10 new full-time jobs in Oostburg.
