Nolan Pitsch indicted on federal child pornography charges
The Sheboygan man is accused of producing child porn
SHEBOYGAN — A federal grand jury indicted a local wheelchair-bound man on several counts.
The federal grand jury indicted 31-year-old Nolan M. Pitsch on five counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. The indictment alleges that between approximately March and September 2024, Pitsch knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced multiple minor children to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
According to Richard G. Frohling, the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the federal indictment also alleges that on September 26, 2024, Pitsch knowingly possessed images of child pornography, including images of minors who were under the age of twelve years old.
Pitsch, a 2012 graduate of Sheboygan South High School, has had an obsession with taking selfies with athletes and celebrities. He has been photographed with Green Bay Packers Coach Matt LaFleur, comedian Charlie Berens, Packers Hall of Famer Leroy Butler, and professional golfer Rory McIlroy. Pitsch was a long-time employee at the Marcus Sheboygan Cinema.
The case was investigated by multiple agencies including Homeland Security Investigations, the Sheboygan Police Department and the St. Louis County Police Department. Pitsch is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Megan J. Paulson.
An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt according to the U.S. Department of Justice. He is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government must prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If convicted of any of the production charges, Pitsch faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison. If convicted of the possession charge, he faces up to 20 years imprisonment. Pitsch also faces up to a $250,000 fine on all of the counts.
