Levitt AMP Music Series returns for 9th year in Downtown Sheboygan
Music again fills Sheboygan’s City Green with the return of the summer music series

SHEBOYGAN — This summer marks the 9th year of the Levitt AMP Music Series in Downtown Sheboygan.
Thursday evening kicked off an impressive, genre-spanning lineup of free, live performances at Sheboygan’s City Green Park. Opening acts included the Sheboygan North High School Drumline as well as New Orleans singer, and songwriter Johanna Rose. Afterwards, the headlining act and Grammy Award-winning band the Lost Bayou Ramblers took to the stage. The band fuse the Louisiana styles of Cajun and Creole music, mixing together both old and new sounds.
They won Grammy Awards in 2018 and 2024 for Best Regional Roots Music Album.

This was the 100th concert since Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series debuted in 2015.
Hosted by the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, the 10-week concert series is held on Thursday evenings and is accompanied by a lineup of local food trucks, a beverage tent, and art-making activities for all ages. The Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces, creating welcoming and inclusive destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together, fosters belonging, and invigorates community life.
Had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic, this would have been the 10th anniversary of the summer event. The inaugural Levitt AMP Music Series was held in 2015. That summer, 12 concerts were held after Sheboygan was one of 10 communities to receive a $25,000 grant for the concert series.
This year’s presenting sponsors include Acuity, Sargento, and Lake 98.1, with additional support from GrandStay Residential Suites, City of Sheboygan, Meijer, Festival Foods, UnitedOne Credit Union, the Green Bay Packer Foundation, Van Horn Automotive, Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, 4 Imprint, Encore Luxury Apartments, Rockline Industries, and 3 Sheeps Brewing Company.
