Krazian Fuzian Asian restaurant to open in Sheboygan
Emmer's tavern closed in 2024 after 39 years

SHEBOYGAN — A new Asian restaurant is set to open in Sheboygan’s Sheridan Park Neighborhood.
Krazian Fuzian, located at 906 South 15th Street, will be an Asian fusion restaurant with a dining room that seats 168 and will offer Asian and American food. The restaurant could have as many as 11 full-time and 9 part-time workers.
For the past several months, the new owners have been renovating the building. Due to cost overruns, they have received a $100,000 loan from the Sheboygan Redevelopment Authority to finish the renovations and purchase restaurant equipment. Wayne Emmer sold the 9,803-square-foot building for $345,400 in August 2024 to Kue Yang, LLC.

Emmer purchased the building in July 1995 for $70,000 from the Eagles Club. Sheboygan's Fraternal Order of Eagles was founded in 1902 and boasted Wisconsin's highest membership behind Milwaukee. The organization sold the building due to decreasing membership and increasing costs to operate the building. Before becoming a bar in 1968, the building was home to the G.W. Schmitt General Store and Steffen Funeral Chapel.
No date for the grand opening has been set yet.
