Saturday, June 7th
Ozaukee County Fishing Clinic
9 AM - 3 PM
Puckett's Pond
Come out to Puckett's Pond for a fun day of fishing! A great way to get involved with the great out- doors that Ozaukee County has to offer and fun for all ages, especially the kids! Fishing equipment, lunch and giveaways will be provided! Park admission and fishing license are not required.
Sunday, June 8th
Friends of HBSP Pancake Breakfast
8 AM - 12 PM
Ansay Welcome Center
Join the Friends of Harrington Beach State Park and enjoy a free pancake breakfast during our Fun Free Weekend. This is a great time to learn more about the Friends group, everything they do, and even be- come a member! Park admission not required but donations are appreciated.
Bird's The Word
8 AM - 9:30 AM
Puckett's Pond
Join Master Naturalist Bonnie Lunde as she takes you through the trails at Harrington Beach State Park. Spot and learn about the types of birds that like our diverse ecosystems such as the prairies’, lake, swamp, pond, and wooded areas. As well as, which helpful apps are best for identifying birds. You are encouraged to bring your binoculars, cameras, and questions. Park admission not required.

9 AM - 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM - 3 PM
Ansay Welcome Center
Join Master Naturalist Garth Ewing as young children enjoy a reading of "The Listening Walk" by Paul Showers, followed by a nature scavenger hunt along the trails. This event is designed to nurture curiosity and appreciation for nature among children. We will explore the sounds of various birds, insects, and other wildlife commonly found in our backyards and their biodiversity in the natural world. Meet at the Ansay Welcome Center. Park admission is required.
