Sheboygan's C.A. Flipse & Sons listed for sale
The third generation company is seeking a new owner

SHEBOYGAN — A local family-owned wholesale distributor has been listed for sale along with its building.
C.A. Flipse & Sons, located at 1119 Pennsylvania Avenue, has listed their building and business for sale. The wholesale distributor has been operating in Sheboygan since 1900. The asking price for the 12,178-square-foot building is $881,000. It was originally built in 1865 for a meat packing company.
The company will continue to operate according to Dane Checolinski, Commercial Real Estate Advisor at NAI Pfefferle. “The goal is to find a buyer that will continue to serve the more than 300 customers they have and to perform a seamless transition.” It is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to get into business for themselves added Checolinski.

In 1925, Henry Rindfleisch, Edward Resch and Otto Schmidt purchased Gus Flipse's interest in the company but continued doing business under the Flipse name. In 1991, a 2,450-square-foot addition was built. The company remodeled and added retail space in 2003. Today, the business is owned by John Rindfleisch.
Originally supplying ice cream parlors and soda fountains, C.A. Flipse & Sons has expanded to offer janitorial supplies, laundry chemicals, paper goods and snacks to schools, churches, manufacturers, and healthcare providers. The company primarily serves Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Ozaukee, and Washington counties.
