J.H. Findorff & Son builds wheelchair ramp for Sheboygan woman
The company provided funding, skilled craftsmen, tools and equipment for the project
SHEBOYGAN — Volunteers from J.H. Findorff & Son and Rebuilding Together Sheboygan County (RTSC) built and installed a wheelchair ramp for a longtime Sheboygan resident.
The woman, who hopes to age in place, has mobility limitations and relies on a walker or wheelchair when leaving her home. To leave her home safely, she needed help navigating the stairs leading to her front door. This limitation affected her quality of life and her ability to perform daily tasks independently.
With the completion of the ADA-compliant ramp, the resident will now be able to leave her house independently to pick up her mail or take short walks in the neighborhood with her walker.
