SHEBOYGAN — Halloween starts early this year at Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s ReStore in Sheboygan’s Historic Grant Neighborhood.
On Thursday, October 30th and Friday, October 31st, adults can enjoy 25% off full-price items around the entire store, including furniture, building supplies, home-décor items, and tools. Kids can get a head start filling their candy buckets — costumes encouraged but not required.
“If you’ve never been to the ReStore, this is a great time to check it out,” said Rachel Hartlaub, ReStore Manager. “We get new donations of furniture and home goods almost daily, so there are always new items to explore.”
Moving, downsizing, or decluttering? Consider donating new and gently used items to the ReStore. Drop off items during ReStore’s regular hours; Wednesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM.
ReStore sales support Habitat Lakeside’s affordable home-buying and home-repair programs, including Aging in Place, which helps older Sheboygan County residents remain in their homes, and Rock the Block.
Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, founded in 1993, is the Sheboygan County affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit dedicated to eradicating substandard housing. Habitat Lakeside is underway with its 53rd, 54th, and 55th homes. Prospective home buyers are already clocking the hundreds of volunteer hours required as part of the home-buying process.
