Anonymous company looks at building in Sheboygan, creating hundreds of jobs
City Administrator Casey Bradley said the company has chosen to remain anonymous

SHEBOYGAN — A company has plans to purchase land on Sheboygan’s far south side and hire several hundred workers according to city officials.
During a meeting of the city’s Finance and Personnel Committee on Monday evening, very little information was shared regarding what the company plans to build. WKTS News first reported that KBC Advisors has submitted a non-binding letter of intent to purchase two properties totaling 62.35-acres in the SouthPointe Enterprise Campus between I-43 and South Business Drive. The Seattle, Washington-based company is notoriously secretive. However, KBC Advisors has a history of acquiring land for various types of Amazon facilities.
“We are working with a large industrial user on this property, they've chosen to remain anonymous,” said City Administrator Casey Bradley. “We anticipate that they will be proposing several hundred jobs and a lot of investment in that area.” Bradley did not say how soon the company could break ground should the company move forward with purchasing the land. The firm wants to have as many as 210 days to inspect all aspects of the properties and to determine whether the land is suitable for the firm’s intended use.

Last month, workers from Sheboygan Falls-based Landmark Landscapes spent several days cutting grass and clearing overgrown brush from the two properties. WKTS News requested documents relating to that hurried operation on June 16th but did not receive them until today. The company sent an invoice to the City of Sheboygan for $6,904.83 in what is described as "rough mowing." Grass cutting began on Friday, June 13th. Deputy City Attorney Liz Majerus is married to Jesse Majerus, co-owner of Landmark Landscapes.
