Experience the reality of homelessness in Sheboygan
A Night Without Shelter in Downtown Sheboygan planned for November 7th

SHEBOYGAN — Get a glimpse into the struggles of homelessness in Sheboygan by attending an immersive community event called A Night Without Shelter.
Participants will learn first hand the harsh reality many of what homeless individuals face and the bone-chilling experience of sleeping outside in Downtown Sheboygan. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 PM on Friday, November 7th at St. Luke United Methodist Church, located at 623 Ontario Avenue.

The evening will begin with a presentation and conversations around the experiences of Sheboygan’s growing homeless population. Attendees are encouraged to stay overnight to experience what it is like to sleep outside in November. To learn more about the event, visit sheboygan.us/NightWithoutShelter2025.
There are an estimated 40 homeless individuals spread out at numerous encampments in Downtown Sheboygan. Earlier in October, WKTS News reported on the troubling situation facing the city’s Harbor Centre District. In 2021, WKTS first published a report detailing the homelessness problem.
