Child, two adults injured in Sheboygan shooting
Shooting investigation shuts down South Business Drive
SHEBOYGAN — A man and child were shot during a disturbance Friday morning on Sheboygan’s south side.
According to the Sheboygan Police Department, one suspect was arrested following the shooting. Officers discovered an adult male and a child were shot. Another adult male sustained unknown injuries. All have been transported for treatment. The gun has been recovered and there is no ongoing threat to the public according to police. While police did not confirm the location of the shooting, officers are focusing their attention at Lakeshore Adult Day Care on South Business Drive.
The first call for help came in shortly after 10 AM.
Due to the incident, both northbound and southbound lanes of South Business Drive are closed between Washington Avenue and Wilson Avenue. A helicopter from Milwaukee-based WISN 12 News hoovered over the scene for about 20 minutes during the lunch hour.
